Today I'll be showing you how to make your own Caramel Liqueur. You can drink it cold or warm, and of course put whipped cream on top for garnish. I love this time of year. It's cold, it's happy, and Christmas is right around the corner! Besides, it seems like all the drinks and foods have either chocolate, pumpkin, or candy cane put into them, but hey, I'm not complaining.
Here is what your lovely drink will look like. |
What You'll Need:
• Two 14 oz Cans Sweetened Condensed Milk
• 23 oz Rum
• 1 Vanilla Bean
• A Cooking Pot
• Electric Mixer
• Large Bowl
Procedure:
• Remove the labels from the Condensed Milk cans
• Place unopened cans in Cooking Pot
• Fill with water until the cans are covered
• Bring water to a boil
• Let simmer for 3 hours
• Take Cooking Pot off the heat and let sit for 45 minutes
• Open up the cans and empty them into the large bowl
• Add Rum to the bowl
• Cut open the Vanilla Bean, scrape out the pulp and add to the bowl
